A bare tank
It was beautiful, can I say this, it looked like a garden covered with moss. In fact, I don't hate moss but I know that it's not good for an aquarium.
To keep the water condition, I took measures for moss control such as being associated with an increased frequency of changing water, shorten the duration of lighting, but a successful outcome wasn't achieved. The other day, my wife suggested me that all the stuff attached moss in the aquarium should be replaced. My mind was made up by her suggestion then the main aquarium tank became like this. Generally, this kind of tank is called a bare tank. It looked like howling wilderness, so I put a driftwood in there.

A 20 inch wide display
Insted of my old 17 inch square display, I bought a 20 inch wide display as you can see in this background of this article. I think that the monitor I got is a top-quality monitor at a very reasonable price. On some reviews, written like this.
This one has been excellent in all respects except gaming. With a slow response time of 16 ms, I have experienced much "ghosting" (Slow update of the picture) in all my game.
Becuse I won't use this for gaming and watching movies, I totally ignord the avobe opinion and it seems okay with me. All the stuff in my room such as a light for aquarium, a wall lack, a watch and a jacket case are in white, I'd like white one. So this is good in appearance.
This is the first time using a wide type monitor for me, I feel it's very handy and practical when I write some programing code.

It's been 30 years since I first read this book which is written in Japanese.
As I was just six years old then, all I could understand was that the young African boy named Kunte Kinte, the lead character of the story, had been treated inhumanly and his toe (probably it was his thumb) was cut by spade or something like that.
Anyway, the story was a little bit difficult for a 6 years old boy but I tried to read it. Because it was a book owned by my aunt who was living together in my boyhood home and I liked her because she was a ten. It's true that this story has not been written for a 6 years old boy, but I'm sure I felt something from this story.
Now in the US, Mr. Obama, an African-American male exists as a President-elect.
In Roots, Kunte Kinte was kidnapped from his homeland and brought to the United States as a slave. It's just 200 years ago.
30 years ago, in Japan, a word Amerikan meant the white race. I'm ashamed to say that we used some discriminatory terms against African-American people with disregard to their human rights. So now I feel that I am living in the world beyond my imagination, in a good sense.
Regardless of what the world thinks, I think all the US citizens did the right thing in the presidential election. I'm sure it's something the world has been waiting for.

a practical painkiller
To my mortification, this morning I fell pretty hard and suffered slight abrasion to my palms and knees again, in front of my house. Fortunately, now I'm with negligible wound pain. My wife was laughed at for my act dumb then allowed me to drink my favorite Diet Coke instead of taking painkillers. This made me so happy. Here is a photo of the limited version of 2L diet coke bottles.

The Red Crif

Directed by John Woo who's well known as a director of M:I-2, the movie is full of excitement and romance. I went see the movie to a theater in sannomiya last night.
The film was released in Asia as two versions with a total running time of more than five hours. Western audiences will see only a two-and-a-half-hour version in theaters early next year. Included among the extensive cast are Tony Leung, Takeshi Kaneshiro, Shido Nakamura and model Lin Chi Ling.
The story is based on the events during the Three Kingdoms period in Ancient China in which specifically told in the title, The Battle of Red Cliffs.
Speaking of Romance of the Three Kingdoms, I'm sure that most of my contemporaries in Japan watched this story on a tv show as a toy drama.
I loved the show and when I was around 10 years old, I've read it in comics which was written by Mitsuteru Yokoyama. So, I'd been interested in The Red Crif, before watch the movie.
For your information, here is a translation for the NAME of main characters. Englih names sounds totally different from what we know.
I was enchanted with the performance of Takeshi Kaneshiro as Zhuge Liang.
It was great and I cannot wait the two-parter.

Since I'm a Buddhist, I don't celebrate Christmas like Christians do.
But I love Christmas atmosphere, so I tried taking a picture of these photos with using a small Santa clause doll which my friend presented to me the other day.
Those can be used as wallpapers - 1680 x 1050 pixels (for 20 inch wide monitor)

According to author Keiya, how to learn for the secrets of success as there are many books available in market, but never heard of such kind of news that those who succeeded have increased on the basis of those articles. This book would give you an answer why it happened.
Because it's a reader-friendly book, I could read this book right through in a matter of minutes. This book is organized into very short sections so that readers easily understand what author would like to tell. The style of this book can be sorted as a sort of comedy, but I feel that each suggestion is very practical and easy to give it a try.
The lead characters of the story are a white-collar worker who desires for improvement and a god named Ganesha is one of the best-known and most worshipped deities in the Hindu pantheon. But in this story, Ganesha is described as a funny man has elephant head with a Japanese friendly Kansai accent like a comedian.
All the chapter are as very funny stories, but I think you can find anything worthwhile.
NOTE: To read this book, minimum Kansai accent ability is required
